24 Hour Hazwoper Training Course
The 24 Hour HAZWOPER training course is designed for employees performing an Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Operation as mandated by the Government. At 24 Hour HAZWOPER Safety Training, we provide 24 hour HAZWOPER training to help workers meet the requirements for the certification under 29 CFR, Part 1910.120 (e).
Note: Workers must take 24 hours of initial training and one day of supervised field experience before they enter this site. *The online 24 hour HAZWOPER training course meets the standard requirement of 24 hours of initial training. The one day field experience under a well trained, experienced supervisor is the trainee's employer or potential employer's responsibility.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This 24 hour HAZWOPER course covers a broad issue pertaining to the hazard recognition at work places. This course will help workers to identify the various hazards and suggests possible preventive measure and precaution to diminish and eliminate work site hazards.

Learning Outcomes:
- Understand the purpose of OSHA and its role in regulating occupational safety
- Familiarize with materials, explosive, chemical or radiological hazards compounds and mixtures that may present flammable.
- Implementation of procedures for treating workers in the event of hazardous exposure
- Emphasize the importance of personal protective equipment to limit hazardous exposure
- Use Site Characterization to establish problems existing in your workplace and measures that can be implemented to eliminate hazards
- Encourage the use of Material Safety Data sheets (MSDS) to identify and properly handle hazardous materials
- Establish an effective Site Control Program to limit the risk of exposure to only those working in the hazardous work zone
- Identify hazardous materials existing in the workplace and the possible methods, symptoms and preventative measures of exposure

QUIZZES and TESTING:
There are quizzes between training chapters. Each trainee must appear for the module quizzes and acquire a minimum score of 70% to proceed forward in the course. The same score is needed for passing the final exam which is at the end of the course. If trainees are not able to clear the final exam at the first try, they have two additional attempts at no extra cost.
Upon successful completion of the 24 hour HAZWOPER course trainees will be able to print out the certificate of completion.
