This
40 hour HAZWOPER training course covers topics under 29 CFR 1910.120 (e). This
40 hour HAZWOPER online course meets the standard requirement of 40 hours of initial training.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Understand OSHA and its role in regulating occupational safety
- Site Characterization to eliminate work hazards
- Familiarize with materials, compounds and mixtures that may contain explosive, flammable, chemical or radiological hazards
- Identify existence of hazardous materials in the workplace
- Accentuate the importance of personal protective equipment to limit hazardous exposure
- Establish Site Control Program that limits the risk of exposure for workers working in the hazardous work zone
- Encourage the use of Material Safety Data sheets (MSDS)
- Implement procedures to treat workers in the event of hazardous exposure

QUIZZES and TESTING:
There are quizzes between training chapters. Each trainee must appear for the module quizzes and acquire a minimum score of 70% to proceed forward in the course. The same score is needed for passing the final exam which is at the end of the course. If trainees are not able to clear the final exam at the first try, they have two additional attempts at no extra cost.
Upon successful completion of the
40 hour HAZWOPER course trainees will be able to print out the certificate of completion.
